Welcome to Keeb.
Keeb is a tool for viewing, directing, and managing Codex tasks running on your computer from your iPhone. It consists of the Keeb iOS app and the Keeb Companion command-line program (available for macOS, Windows, and Linux). This Privacy Policy explains how we handle information when you use Keeb, and how you can manage that information.
Keeb is an independently developed third-party tool. It is not an official product of Apple Inc. or OpenAI, L.L.C., and it does not imply any affiliation with, authorization by, or partnership with Apple or OpenAI.
Please read this Policy carefully before using Keeb. If you do not agree with this Policy, please stop using the relevant features of Keeb.
Keeb does not currently provide a separate user account system, and does not use developer-operated servers to centrally store your Codex conversations, code repositories, recordings, or attachments.
Data between your iPhone and your computer is transmitted over an encrypted local network connection that you establish by scanning a pairing QR code. The connection address and certificate fingerprint are supplied directly by that QR code. Keeb does not broadcast device information on your network, and does not scan for other devices on your local network. However, when you ask Codex to perform a task, the resulting instructions, attachments, code, or workspace content may still be sent to OpenAI for processing by the Codex service signed in on your computer. That process is governed by your OpenAI account settings, the OpenAI terms, and the OpenAI privacy policy.
